Negentig landelijke sportorganisaties (77 sportbonden en 13 geassocieerden) zijn aangesloten bij NOC*NSF en vertegenwoordigen samen bijna 24.000 sportverenigingen met in totaal 5,2 miljoen georganiseerde sporters.
NOC*NSF is een faciliterende organisatie die mede zorg draagt voor een gezond en sterk Nederland. Onder andere Zeilschool Muiderzand en voetbalvereniging SVF Cothen zijn verenigingen die zijn geholpen.
